2025 - Performing Module (Kaimana)

'Kaimana' was a collaborative project I did with Georgia-Lilly Ulett-Birchall for our 'Performing' module in our second year of university. We came up with a general Idea for what we wanted to make, but I specialised in the technical elements of creating the costume, and they focused on the design and research aspect. 'Kaimana' is a transforming costume for an aerial hoop performance based on the Hawaiian mythological creatures ‘Mo’o’ - shape shifting lizards that take the form of beautiful women to lure men to their watery deaths.
