This was a film by Charlie Sadler I worked on in my last year of university. It focuses on a strange elderly man removed from early 20th century society, as he begins a ritual to move on from the pain his long deceased soulmate. By playing the violin, the music transports him to a better time away from a life of eating rotting eel's, dancing for word, and kinship from a taxidermy fox.

The film is set in the 1940s, but George has been completely isolated from society for nearly 30 years, so his costume is based on 1910s menswear. When designing his costume, I focused on what it would look like if he'd worn the exact same outfit non-stop for decades, as he would have no way to know what was in fashion, nor would he care.
